How long is a session?

Individual therapy is a 50 minute session.  Couples and family therapy is typically a 90 minute session.  We can discuss what makes the most sense for you.

What are your hours?

Currently I am available Wednesdays from 9am-7pm.

How frequently do we meet?

We will discuss this during your initial 15 minute FREE consultation.  Different people need different things.  My goal is to tailor a plan to your needs.  Typically we will meet once a week, especially for the first couple months to establish where you are on your brave journey and where you are hoping to go.

What payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, and major credit cards.  Payment is expected at time of our session.

Where do I park when I come to your office?

There is 2 hour street parking on California Ave and there are many residential streets available as well.  There is currently construction next to our building.

How do I get in to your office?

The building next to us is currently under construction.  Please enter by the gate, next to the trash cans.  You will see a staircase on the north wall, follow that to the back of the building.  I am the second door on the right.  If you have any difficulty finding the office, do no hesitate to call me (971) 236-7033.

What are you currently reading?

Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses by Kimberly and James Dean (very basics of CBT; I love that I can share it with my kids)

The Invisible String by Patrice Karst (amazing book for kids, especially to introduce to grief)

Braving the Wilderness by Brené Brown (I love her research on vulnerability and the importance of being BRAVE)

Of Mess and Moxie by Jen Hatmaker (we need real friends who truly understand us to survive this thing called life)

What are you currently listening to?

Ed Sheeran- Supermarket Flowers (if you have experienced grief, be ready for a good cry)

Anna Kendrick- Get Back up Again (from the Trolls soundtrack, with kids I get to enjoy their songs too 😉

Michael Franti- Once a Day (we need human touch, so it’s a great idea to hug at least once a day… preferably more!)

Caspar Babypants- Hold Fast Baby Barnacle (we all need someone once the storm has passed)
